Description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Engineer to join our
growing team. You will work on cutting-edge embedded systems, bringing
Linux to new hardware platforms and optimizing existing solutions for
our diverse client base.
You will collaborate with upstream communities, contribute to open source
projects, and help shape the future of embedded Linux.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Board Support Packages (BSPs) for ARM/RISC-V platforms
- Upstream kernel drivers and patches to the Linux kernel community
- Debug complex hardware/software integration issues
- Optimize boot times, power consumption, and system performance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with hardware teams and clients on system architecture
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Embedded Linux development
- Strong C programming skills and kernel development experience
- Experience with Yocto/OpenEmbedded or Buildroot
- Understanding of ARM/RISC-V architectures
- Familiarity with Git, upstream development workflows
- Excellent debugging skills (JTAG, serial consoles, kernel tracing)
- Good communication skills in English
Desired Skills
- Linux kernel maintainer experience
- Experience with real-time Linux (PREEMPT_RT)
- Knowledge of device tree and ACPI
- Familiarity with graphics stacks (DRM/KMS)
- Experience with secure boot and TEE
- French language skills
